Varfer is a medium-sized engineering works specialising in flexible, individual customer service. Our business includes comprehensive machining assignments, pipework installations, the processing of plates and steel constructions, welding and related installation jobs. Our heavy-machine base and 1400 m² of industrial hall floor space guarantee our swift and reliable customer service capacity, from the manufacture of individual process equipment to the production of exacting serial products.

The Varfer Engineering Works is based in the Lehtoniemi Industrial Park in Varkaus, Finland. Our business is currently undergoing an intensive expansion, with our turnover being over 2.5 million euros per annum. Exports through our Finnish client companies abroad cover more than 30% of our turnover. A significant proportion of our domestic and export deliveries includes installation work on the end-customers’ premises. The company employs 23 personnel.

Our operations are steered by meticulously formulated planning and manufacturing processes refined over the course of time in accordance with our accumulated experience. These operating methods are based on the customer certified SFS ISO 9002 standard.

Our clientele consists of process equipment and machine manufacturers, the process industry, the construction industry and engineering offices.
